I love being a good Samaritan.
Yesterday after work, I went to the bank to put some money I owed my brother into his account and drop a cheque in for my mother. On the little table where you can fill in the deposit point slips (this was a Saturday afternoon so the bank was shut but for the foyer) there was a whole bundle of someone else's bank stuff, including a check book and building society book and all sorts of stuff that you could probably use to defraud them out of money, should you want and know how to.
I tried to pop it into the deposit point with a note about when it was found, but the deposit point slot is very tiny so it didn't fit, then my mother came to get me (I had already told her about the stuff that was found) and suggested we take it round to the police station, which we did. They basically said that it'd be better if it was at the bank, and could I take it back on Monday. Fine. The cheque book had a name and address on it, so when I was home I searched the online phonebook and found the woman who's stuff it was and told her I had it, not to worry I would drop it into the bank on Monday unless she desperately needed it, then she could come round and get it. She came round today while I was at work, very grateful and left me a massive tin of chocolates as a thank you! Obviously I am mostly pleased that I found them and not someone who knows or wants to steal from people, but equally, it's chocolate and I can't deny I'm not happy about it.
NOMNOMNOM.
This is the longest post of this blog, goodness me.
Also, I know I've been shit. The last couple of weeks have been either horrendous or really busy.

I love Mumford & Sons
There hasn't been a lot of love floating about my way recently, so I've been failing at the basic premise of this bad boy BUT an album I ordered while drunk (yes) which came yesterday has completely reignited my own personal spark.
Mumford & Sons - if any of you want a wife, I'm a lovely girl with a pretty quick wit and quite nice hair and you can probably contact me through this (I think?!). Also, I can sing a bit, and I think I'd make a lovely muse.
Seriously, am in love.
